Frequently Asked Questions
Gungi is a fictional board game from the manga and anime series Hunter x Hunter. It's a two-player strategy game played on a 9x9 board with stackable pieces. Gungi.io is a fan-made implementation that lets you play Gungi online against other players or a computer opponent.
Start by clicking "Play" in the sidebar to find an opponent, or "Bot" to practice against the computer. Each player has an army of pieces with different movement abilities. The goal is to capture your opponent's Marshal. Pieces can be stacked up to three high, and stacking changes how pieces move. Check the game rules for detailed information on piece movements.
